As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Your first step is to remove the screws securing the rear access panel and pull the panel off.

Next, remove the screws to release the brackets securing the condenser fan motor.

As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Note the fan blade's orientation and position on the motor shaft, then pull it off.

Your first step is to remove the screws securing the rear access panel and pull the panel off.

Disconnect the wire harness to remove the old motor.

Next, disconnect the fan motor wire harness and use needle-nose pliers to release the wire retaining clip.

Install the new condenser fan motor by first reconnecting the wire harness.

Remove the screws securing the fan motor mounting bracket and pull the bracket off.

Then, position the motor and slide the fan blade onto the motor shaft.

Detach the fan blade from the motor shaft and pull the old motor out.

Secure the motor with the mounting bracket and screws.

Install the new condenser fan motor by first transferring the grommets from the old motor to the new one.

Replace the rear access panel and secure it with the screws.

Now position the new motor in the housing and fully seat the fan blade onto the motor shaft.

You're now ready to plug the appliance back in to make sure it's functioning properly.

Secure the grounding wire if applicable and position the mounting bracket.

Secure it with the screws.

Snap the wire retaining clip into place and connect the wire harness.

Replace the rear access panel and secure it with the screws.
