As with any repair, you should unplug the appliance before beginning.

To replace the timer knob on your washer, first remove the screws securing the control panel cover. and pull cover off.

Next, use a flathead screwdriver to pull out the timer locking pin.

This will allow you to pull off the old timer knob.

Install the new timer knob by positioning it on the switch stem and pushing it into place.

With the new knob installed, push the timer locking pin back in.

Replace the control panel cover and secure it with the screws.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the washer is functioning properly.
