Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, you should unplug the appliance before beginning.

To replace the timer on your washer, first remove the screws securing the control panel cover. and pull cover off.

Next, use a small flathead screwdriver to pull out the timer locking pin.

You can now pull off the timer knob and dial.

Remove the mounting screw.

Now pull back the locking tab and slide the timer to the right to detach it from the control panel.

Disconnect the wire harness and remove the old timer.

Install the new timer by first connecting the wire harness.

Now position the timer in the control panel and snap it into place.

Secure it with the mounting screw.

Align the dial and push it into place.

Pull out the locking pin reposition the knob and push the locking pin back in.

Replace the control panel cover and secure it with the screws.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the washer is functioning properly.
