Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the water inlet valve in your washer be sure to unplug the power cord and shut off the water supply.

Remove the hot and cold water supply lines from the inlet valve – be prepared for some water to spill out.
3
Use a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthread the rear screws securing the top panel.

Slide the top panel back and lift up to detach.
5
Use a t-20 torx bit to unthread the inlet valve mounting screw and detach the wire retainer from the support brace.

Slide the valve to the left to detach.

Note the orientation of the wires connected to the valve then disconnect them.

Detach the wire retainer from the valve.

Note the position of the hoses attached to the detergent dispenser then release the clamps and pull the hoses off to fully remove the old valve.

You’re now ready to install the new water inlet valve.

Attach the hoses to the appropriate dispenser ports and secure them with the clamps.

Connect the wire connecters to the appropriate terminals.

Secure the wire retainer.

Position the valve in the rear panel and secure it with the mounting screw.

Snap the wire retainer into the support brace.

Realign the top panel and slide it into position.

Secure the screws.

Attach the hot and cold water supply lines to the new valve.

With the repair completed turn the water supply back on plug the power cord back in and your washer should be ready for use.
