As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Your first step is to remove the screws to release the back panel.

If still intact, remove the old belt by rotating the tub drive pulley while pulling the belt up and out. You’re now ready to install the new belt.

Making sure the ribbing is on the inside

First loop the belt onto the motor shaft pulley

Then position it onto the tub drive pulley.

Rotate the pulley to fully align the belt. Be aware this may require some effort.

Secure it with the screws.

You’re now ready to plug the appliance back in to make sure it’s functioning properly.
