Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning

Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves.

Your first step is to remove the hoses from the old inlet valve. Be prepared for some water to spill out.

Next, remove the screws at the back of the top panel

Pull the panel off.

Remove the thermistor wire.

Use a small flathead screwdriver to help disconnect the solenoid wire harnesses.

Use the screwdriver to depress the tabs to remove the vent tube and inlet valve retainer.

Rotate the tube to release.

Remove the mounting screws

To detach the old water inlet valve.

Install the new water inlet valve by first inserting the inlet tubes into the back panel

Then insert the outlet ports into the dispenser

Secure the mounting screws.

Insert the vent tube into the dispenser And rotate to lock it into position.

Snap the vent tube and inlet valve retainer into place.

Reconnect the solenoid wire harnesses

As well as the thermistor wire.

Reposition the top panel

Secure it with the screws.

Reattach the hoses to the new inlet valve.

Turn the water supply back on

Plug the appliance back in to make sure it’s functioning properly.
