Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the transformer in your washer

Now insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the holes in the back of the control housing and press the retaining tabs down to release the front control panel.

Use a number two square-bit screwdriver to remove the mounting screws securing the transformer.

Now note the orientation of the wires connected to the transformer then disconnect them.

Install the new transformer by first connecting the wires to the appropriate terminals.

Position the new transformer in the control housing and replace the mounting screws to secure.

Realign the control panel on the housing and snap it into place.

With the repair completed plug the power cord back in and your washer should be ready for use.
