Electric stove burner won't turn off

Control operations with this genuine OEM control panel, part number 5304536932, built for select Frigidaire Range/Stove/Oven. Repair Clinic offers genuine OEM control panels.

A range's control panel can allow the user to select the heating functions for both a stovetop and an oven. If the control panel is defective, one or more of the buttons may have shorted and you will not be able to turn off the element. If you've confirmed the surface element itself has not shorted and the element is controlled by a touchpad, it's likely that touchpad or control panel is faulty.

Range display board not working

The range's control panel will usually display the time, temperature, and settings for the range. If the control panel has power to it but the display is dead, missing digits or dim, it will need to be replaced.

Stove turns off on its own

If a stove turns off on its own, determine if some of the buttons on the touchpad respond intermittently or not at all. If so, it's likely the control panel is faulty and should be replaced. 

Oven door won't unlock/locks intermittently

If the door lock motor tests appropriately for electrical continuity, but the oven door still won't unlock or locks intermittently, it's possible that a control panel component is defective and the panel is unable to properly control the door lock motor. To help determine this, you can test for voltage reaching the door lock motor. If no voltage is reaching the motor, it's likely the control panel requires replacement.

Wall oven display board not working

The wall oven's control panel will usually display the time, temperature, and settings for the range. If the control panel has power to it but the display is dead, missing digits or dim, it will need to be replaced.
