Haier Washer is making loud noise
If your Haier washing machine is making loud noise, start by checking whether the shipping bolts and foam block are still installed. These transport parts keep the tub from moving and must be removed before use. If the washer is loud when spinning or making noise when spinning, the most likely cause is a worn tub bearing, which keeps the inner tub turning smoothly. A defective tub seal and bearing kit can also cause a noisy washing machine, especially if water is leaking from the bottom of the tub near the transmission. On some Haier models, the bearing is built into the rear drum, so the rear drum with bearing may need to be replaced as an assembly. If the bearings are sound, check for an improperly balanced load. Mixing heavy and lightweight items, or washing too few items, can make the tub bang and vibrate during spin. Replacing a tub bearing or rear drum requires substantial disassembly. 05 - Haier Washing Machine Rear Drum with Bearing
The rear drum has a bearing or bearings in it to keep the inner tub spinning smoothly. If the tub bearing system is defective the washer can become very noisy. On some machines bearings are sold separately from the rear drum, however we recommend replacing both the outer drum and bearing as an assembly if the manufacturer offers the components together because removing and pressing in the new bearing can be exceptionally difficult.
