E-Wave Washer is making loud noise
If your E-Wave washer is making loud noise, first check whether the shipping bolts and foam transport block were removed from the back of the machine. These parts keep the tub secure during delivery and can cause a noisy washing machine if left installed. If the washer loud when spinning continues, the most likely cause is a worn tub bearing, which keeps the inner tub rotating smoothly. A defective tub seal and bearing kit can also create noise during the spin cycle, especially if water is leaking from the bottom of the tub near the transmission. On some E-Wave models, the rear drum with bearing must be replaced as an assembly because removing and pressing in a bearing can be difficult. A separate washing machine bearing may be available, but replacing the outer tub and bearing together is often recommended. Finally, an improperly balanced load can make the tub shake and cause a washing machine making noise when spinning. Wash items of similar weight and add garments if the load is too small. 05 - E-Wave Washing Machine Rear Drum with Bearing
The rear drum has a bearing or bearings in it to keep the inner tub spinning smoothly. If the tub bearing system is defective the washer can become very noisy. On some machines bearings are sold separately from the rear drum, however we recommend replacing both the outer drum and bearing as an assembly if the manufacturer offers the components together because removing and pressing in the new bearing can be exceptionally difficult.
