As with any repair, you should unplug the power cord before beginning.

To replace the run capacitor in your freezer, reach in through the lower rear of the appliance and release the wire retainer.

Now detach the old run capacitor from the start device.

Install the new run capacitor by aligning the mounting tab on the capacitor with the mounting pin on the start device then push the new part into place.

Secure the wire retainer.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the freezer is functioning properly.
