Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, you should unplug the power cord before beginning.

To replace the light switch on your freezer

First remove the screws to release the kick plate.

Reach through the opening in the frame and push the left side of the old light switch out.

Now depress the tab on the right side to fully detach the switch from the frame.

Disconnect the wires to remove the old switch.

Install the new light switch by first connecting the wires.

Now align the switch with the hole in the frame and snap it into place.

Reposition the kick plate and replace the screws to secure.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the new light switch is working properly.
