Be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Your first step is to pull off the drip tray and remove the dispenser cover screws.

Next, lift the cover up and off.

Then, disconnect the wire harness.

Remove the screws securing the dispenser control module.

Pull the water supply tube out and pull the module away from the door.

Remove the dispenser lever screws and retaining brackets, then lift out the old lever.

Install the new dispenser lever by inserting it into the control module, making sure the spring is correctly positioned in the notch on the lever.

Replace the retaining brackets and screws.

Reposition the dispenser control module, making sure the water supply tube is in place.

Reinstall the screws, reconnect the wire harness, and slide the dispenser cover down into position.

Secure it with the screws.

Snap the drip tray into place.

You're now ready to plug the appliance back in to make sure it's functioning properly.
