unplug the power cord

make sure the freezer rack is in the lower position

use a small flat-head screwdriver to depress the tab to release the ice maker connection cover from the evaporator cover

have an assistant help you to roll the refrigerator away from the wall

use a knife to cut through the rear panel decal where indicated

fold in the edges of the decal and remove the foam insert

insert the new fill tube and rotate to lock it into place

use a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthread the three screws to release the lower rear access panel

insert the water line connecter to the fill tube into the water inlet valve's outlet port
16
remove any tape from the wire and connect the connecter to the terminals on the inlet valve
17
align the inlet valve on the frame and thread the two quarter-inch screws to secure
18
peel off the backing from the two water line retainers
19
attach one to the rear panel below the fill tube entry point and the other above the bottom of the rear panel
20
secure the water line in the retainers

create and access hole for the inlet valve by cutting along the perforations in the access panel

Realign the panel and thread the screws to secure

remove the cap from the inlet port on the valve and attach a water supply line to the port by threading a compression nut

slide the provided clamp over the water supply line and secure it to the rear panel with the mounting screw

using a small flat-head screwdriver, pry out the two screw hole plugs from the freezer liner

partially thread the two ice maker mounting screws

align the leveling bracket on the ice maker and thread the screw loosely to hold it in place

position the ice maker on the fill tube and the mounting screws and tighten the screws

level the ice maker as necessary then tighten the screw to secure the leveling bracket

position the ice bin on the shelf below the ice maker

open the water supply valve and plug the power cord back in
