if applicable, shut off the water supply valve as well

have an assistant help you to roll the refrigerator away from the wall

if necessary, unthread the water supply line from the inlet valve

use a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthread the three screws to release the lower rear access panel

Use needle-nose pliers to help detach the start relay and run capacitor wire retainer

Using a flat-head screwdriver, pry the relay and capacitor assembly off the compressor motor pins

disconnect the wire connector

Detach the run capacitor from the old start relay

Attach the new run capacitor and connect the wire connecter

Align the assembly on the compressor motor pins

replace the wire retainer to secure

reinstall the access panel and reattach the water supply line if applicable

secure the water line retainer under the right side access panel screw

push the refrigerator back against the wall

turn the water supply back on if applicable

plug the power cord back in
