You will need a phillips-head screwdriver, a putty knife, a flat-head screwdriver and a magnetized screwdriver for this procedure.

Be sure to unplug the power cord or shut off the power supply.

Open the door and use a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the two screws securing the front vent.

You can use a putty knife to help pry the vent off.

Unthread the screw securing the control assembly.

Lift the control assembly up to detach.

Note the orientation of the wires connected to the control board, then disconnect them.

Remove the assembly, then unthread the four screws securing the control board.

Disconnect the ribbon connecter and lift out the board.

Use a flat-head screwdriver to detach the control board mounting plate from the old control panel.

Prepare the new control panel for installation by first feeding the ribbon connecter through the slot in the control board mounting plate as you snap the plate into place.

Position the control board and thread the screws to secure.

Connect the new ribbon connecter to the board.

Insert the control assembly tabs into the slots in the microwave oven frame and reconnect all of the control board wire connecters to the appropriate terminals.

Align the control assembly and push down.

Thread the screw ? having a magnetized screwdriver will make this easier.

Reinstall the front vent by aligning the top edge first then press the bottom edge into place.

Thread the screws to secure.

Plug the power cord back in or restore the power supply.
