Step-By-Step Instructions1
Before you replace the control panel on your dishwasher be sure to turn off the power to the appliance.

Open the dishwasher door and use a t-15 torx bit to unthread all of the screws holding the inner and outer door panels together.

Separate the panels and rotate the control board housing retaining latch out of the way.

Use a small flat-head screwdriver to gently pry back the mounting brackets to release the control board housing.

To reduce strain on the control board wires, use a wire tie to secure the housing to the inner door panel.

Lift off the outer door panel.

Use a small flat-head screwdriver to help detach the retaining clips holding the handle and the control panel to the door panel.

Release the tabs so you can fully remove the old control panel.

Prepare the new control panel for installation by transferring the buttons, light bar, the control board retaining latch and the handle from the old panel to the new one.

With all the components in place align the new control panel on the outer door panel and snap it into position.

Secure it with the two retaining clips.

Set the outer door panel on the hinges.

Snap the control board housing into place on the outer door panel and rotate the retaining latch down.

Join the inner and outer door panels together and rethread all of the screws to secure.

With the repair completed turn the power back on and your dishwasher should be ready for use.
