Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the main control board in your washer be sure to unplug the power cord.

Use a number two square bit or a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the screws at the back securing the main top.

Slide the main top back and lift it up to remove.

Use a flat-head screwdriver to help open the main control cover.

Disconnect the door latch wire harness.

Note the orientation of the wire connecters connected to the control board then disconnect them.

Unthread the control board housing mounting screw.

Lift the old board housing up to remove.

Install the new main control board by inserting the housing tabs into the slots in the frame and pushing the housing into place.

Thread the mounting screw to secure.

Connect the wire connecters to the appropriate terminals on the new board.

Connect the door latch wire harness and close the main control cover.
13
Realign the main top and slide it into place.
14
Rethread the screws in the back.

With the repair completed plug the power cord back in and your washer should be ready for use.
