Step By Step Instructions

Before you replace the control panel assembly in your dishwasher be sure to turn off the power to the appliance.

Use a t-20 torx bit screwdriver to remove the screws securing the inner door panel to the outer panel.

Loosen the door latch mounting screws.

Separate the door panels and set the outer panel aside

Now fully remove the door latch mounting screws to release the control panel assembly.

Remove the latch.

Use a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the screw securing the display board and disconnect the ribbon connecter.

Remove the screws to release the control board cover.

Next, unthread the screws securing the control board itself.

Carefully lift out the board and set it aside.

Prepare the new control panel assembly for installation by peeling off the protective covering from the touch panel.

Now peel off the insulating pad backing and remove any residue.

Align the pad on the panel and press it firmly into place.

Next, position the control board in the panel and replace the screws to secure.

Align the display board and secure it with the screw.

Connect the ribbon connecter to the display board.

Align the display board wires in the channel and position the control board cover.

Replace the screws.

Position the door latch and secure the wires.

Now align the control panel assembly on the inner door panel and thread the door latch mounting screws loosely.

Reinstall the outer door panel by aligning it on the control panel.

Rethread the screws to secure the inner door panel to the outer panel.

The longer screws go at the top.
