Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Shut off the gas supply.

Your first step is to remove all of the burner grates the burner caps and bases and the screws underneath.

Next, insert a putty knife between the main top and the control panel to release the two spring clips.

Now pull the main top off.

Remove the wire from the electrode and use a wrench to remove the old burner tube from the valve.

Install the new burner tube by screwing it onto the valve, then tighten with the wrench.

Attach the wire to the electrode.

Slide the main top back on and press down to lock it into place.

Align the burner tubes with the holes in the main top and secure with the screws.

Replace the burner bases by lining up the electrodes with the slot or hole in each base.

Replace the burner caps and grates.

You’re now ready to turn the gas supply back on and plug the appliance back in to make sure it’s functioning properly.
