As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

To replace the timer in your washer first confirm that the timer knob is pushed in then rotate the knob counter-clockwise to remove.

Pull the indicator dial and washer off.

Next, remove the screws securing the top panel.

Now lift the panel up and push forward to remove.

Remove the timer mounting screws.

Pull the timer back and disconnect the two wire harnesses to fully release the old timer.

Install the new timer by first connecting the two wire harnesses.

Now align the timer with the support bracket and replace the mounting screws to secure.

Realign the top panel and replace the screws to secure.

Reposition the indicator dial and washer.

Reinstall the timer knob by holding the dial while rotating the knob clockwise until secure.
