To replace the power cord on your washer…

…first unplug the old cord from the wall outlet.

Next, remove the screws securing the top panel.

Now lift the panel up and push forward to remove.

Disconnect the power cord wire harness.

Now use pliers to depress the tabs on the cord retainer and remove the old cord from the frame.

Prepare the new power cord for installation.

…by transferring the retainer from the old cord to the new one.

Insert the power cord wire harness through the frame...use pliers to squeeze the retainer…and snap the retainer into the frame.

Connect the wire harness.

…and replace the screws to secure.

You’re now ready to plug the new power cord in…

…and confirm that the washer works properly.
