Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

To replace a suspension spring in your washer, first remove the screws at the back securing the top panel.

Lift the panel up and push forward to remove.

Now remove the screws to release the spring retaining strap covering the spring you’re replacing.

Replace at least one screw to secure the support bracket.

You’re now ready to replace the suspension spring.

Position the provided insulators on each end.

Now have an assistant support the tub as you release the old suspension spring from the support bracket and remove it from the outer tub.

Now hook one end of the new spring onto the outer tub and position the opposite end on the support bracket.

Remove the screw to allow the spring retaining strap to be repositioned then rethread both screws to secure.

Realign the top panel and secure it with the screws in the back.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the washer works properly.
