Step-By-Step Instructions1
Before you replace the primer bulb on your string trimmer first make sure the engine has cooled.

Next, remove the wire and boot from the spark plug to prevent the engine from accidentally starting.

Now rotate the knob to release the filter cover.

Next, uninstall the carburetor mounting bolts to release the filter housing and carburetor.

Pull the gasket off then remove the screws to release the primer bulb mounting plate.

Be prepared for some fuel to spill.

Pull the plate off and remove the old primer bulb.

Install the new primer bulb by aligning it on the primer assembly.

Correctly position the mounting plate and replace the screws to secure.

Now align the carburetor on the mounting bolts then slide on the gasket.

Align the assembly on the intake insulator and tighten the bolts to secure.

Make sure the air filter is fully seated in the cover. then realign the cover and rotate the knob to secure.

Reattach the wire and boot to the spark plug and your string trimmer should be ready for use.
