Before you replace the spark plug on your string trimmer and pruner first make sure the engine has cooled.

Next, remove the wire and boot from the spark plug.

Use a socket or a spark plug wrench to remove the old spark plug.

Install the new spark plug by threading it into the cylinder head.

Be careful not to over tighten.

Once secured, attach the wire and boot to the new spark plug and your string trimmer and pruner should be ready for use.
