As with any repair, you should unplug the power cord before beginning.

To replace the light socket on your freezer first depress the tabs on the sides of the light lens cover and pull the cover off.

Detach the old light socket from the top panel and disconnect the wires.

Install the new light socket by first connecting the wires.

Align the socket with the hole in the top panel and snap it into place.

Snap the lens cover into position.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the light is working properly.
