Power systems with this genuine OEM motor, part number 5304509624, made for select Frigidaire or Ikea Microwaves.

The Fan motor keeps the magnetron cool when the microwave is running. If the fan motor stops running the magnetron tube will overheat tripping the high limit thermostat, causing the microwave to shut off. If the motor is getting power but not running properly it will need to be replaced.
