Power systems with this genuine OEM motor, part number 5304494061, made for select Frigidaire or Electrolux Microwave, Range/Stove/Oven, or Oven/Microwave Combos.

The Fan motor keeps the magnetron cool when the microwave is running. If the fan motor stops running the magnetron tube will overheat tripping the high limit thermostat, causing the microwave to shut off. If the motor is getting power but not running properly it will need to be replaced.
